ESIC Model Hospital Chandigarh is a unit of Employees State Insurance Corporation, a statutory body established under Employees State Insurance Act1948. The Hospital was inaugrated on 12-10-2002. By late Doctor Sahib Singh Verma hon'ble Minister or labour, Govt. of India. Presently it is 50 bedded Hospital. Its expansion to 100 bedded Hospital is in process. The Hospital caters to the medical attendance of about 2.70 lacs beneficiaries residing in and around Chandigarh.
